The Stroke Project supports and empowers people affected by a stroke and their families. We give information about strokes, support people through concerns, help improve physical and mental health and help people feel less isolated through our various services:
We also work hard towards preventing stroke and other vascular diseases through our stroke awareness workshops.
The Stroke Project is open Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 5pm. All services that we provide are FREE of charge. After receiving a referral, one of our experienced workers will contact the client to arrange a home visit and discuss what support the client needs. Clients can be referred to the Stroke Project by telephone on: 0207 017 2813 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our office is based in Hackney (50 Well Street, E9 7PX)) but our groups and exercise classes happen in community or leisure centres in Hackney. The service is offered to all stroke survivors and their families in Hackney and City.
